These early experiences became not just a path to healing, but a spark that ignited her lifelong commitment to helping those in need.

While managing her family’s catering business, she frequently encountered the quiet suffering of elderly individuals—living alone, neglected, and in need of basic care and companionship. Though her initial dream was to start a children’s home, she realized that while children have many support systems, senior citizens are often left behind by society. This realization became the turning point in her life.

From this deep sense of purpose, Sree Vidya Trust was founded a sanctuary where elderly individuals can find safety, respect, and love. Vijayalakshmi’s vision is not just to care for physical needs, but to nurture the spirit, ensuring that no elder feels forgotten.
